The purpose of the UMC Outreach committee is to assist the pastor with the education of the congregation regarding the full scope of mission of the UMC. This is to include conference shares of ministry and the advance specials of the Annual Conference and the interpretation of our world mission apportionment. Our ministry activities are to coordinate monthly mission focus including Moment For Mission during worship and newsletter articles. We help to maintain Covenant Relationship with UM missionary. We coordinate mission program for Vacation Bible School. We host "Alternate Gift Market" through Heifer Project at Christmas.

We meet as needed.

Opportunities for volunteering are: writing newsletter articles, Moment For Missions, developing mission priorities for church, and to work on a Mission Awareness event.
