The Chapel Choir is for anyone in grade 3 and up. Rehersal is held at 6:15 PM on Wednesday in the choir room. We sing once a month during the 9:30 and 11:00 services. Please come and enjoy the fun of making a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Greetings! The writer of Psalm 100 declares, “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing!” At Bedford United Methodist Church, we believe music is a powerful tool that should be used to bring people closer to our Heavenly Father through worship. Whether it is in the quietness of our own home, or in a sanctuary filled with fellow Christians, music has the ability to draw our hearts toward the throne of the Lord. Our music program offers various opportunities for people of all musical backgrounds to feel comfortable in their participation and worship setting. On Sunday mornings, the Chancel Choir helps lead worship from September through early June at the 9:30 am service. Our praise team, Into His Presence, leads the music and worship at the 11:00 am service. The children’s choirs also participate in worship at 9:30 am and 11:00 am once a month with the Cherub Choir singing on the second Sunday and the Chapel Choir singing on the third Sunday of each month. At our 8:00 am service, special music is provided on the second Sunday of the month by The Joyful Notes Trio and various members provide special music at other times of the month.
